David Beckham and his son involved in a car accident

Ex-England captain and Manchester United legend David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were both involved in a car crash.The two were allegedly shaken after the collision but were not injured.

The crash happened when David went to pick up Brooklyn, who plays for the Gunners under-16 side, from Arsenal's training ground this morning.

Our source said: "They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang but thankfully everybody walked away uninjured.

David and Brooklyn did not suffer injuries likewise the other passengers.

The 39 year old who went to pick up his 15 year old son Audi RS6 was involved in a collision with another car but were saved by the deployment of the car's airbags.

Suspected Boko Haram militants raided a town called Shani,the militants who arrived on motorcycles throwing bombs, raided a mostly Christian town in the northeast after nightfall on Saturday,some residents and military said.

Residents said scores of people had been killed in the town of Shani, but the police source told us they had been unable to verify the death toll as communications to the town had been largely cut off.

"They rode on motorcycles and were more than 30 men.They started throwing bombs into houses...then the Boko Haram fired shots at people fleeing,"Ishaya Brimah spoke to the Reuters by phone from a nearby village on Sunday.

"They set ablaze the police station, houses and a telecommast...I saw people fleeing, some bodies on the ground."

However,A shopkeeper based in Shani, Shuabu Lawal, said he began hearing explosions at 8 pm on Saturday evening.

"A boy ran into my shop and said his father and elder brother had been shot. He was only wearing shorts, no top and sweating despite the wintry weather. I shut down my shop immediately, leaving some items outside," shop keeper Lawal said.The shani Police stations was burnt down and destroyed.

It has been recorded that the militants have stormed shani twice this year.

Emir of Kano Muhammed Sanusi II visits central mosque after deadly attack

Muhammed Sanusi II the emir of Kano, on Saturday said Nigeria's Muslims will not be intimidated into abandoning Islam following coordinated bomb and gun attacks on the city's central mosque that left at least 120 people dead.

"We will never be intimidated into abandoning our religion,which is the intention of the attackers," the emir said in a 20-minute-visit to the mosque shortly after his return to the country from Saudi Arabia.

The central mosque which is joined together with the palace in the city. Sanusi was out ofNigeria on Friday, when the deadly and mysterious assault on the mosque occurred.

The emir who is the country's second most senior Muslim cleric made a call at the same mosque urging civilians to take up arms against the Islamist extremist group Boko Haram and not be killed mysteriously.
