Daughter of Nigerian legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Yeni Kuti, fell off the stage while receiving an award on behalf of her late father at the Africa Music Awards,which took place this weekend in Lagos.
The late Fela Kuti was honoured with a lifetime achievement award and his daughter came forward to receive it, only to trip and fall on stage.
Yeni Kuti who is a single mother of one,bounced on her feet almost immediately, laughed over it and gave a Wonderful speech as she accepted the award.
Apart from Fela Kuti several singers Davido, Favour, Psquare, Fuse ODG, Iyanya, Timaya and Sarkodie were some of the winners of the 2014 awards.
